Unlike in the United States where the legal drinking age is 21 years, the official age limit for the consumption of alcoholic beverages in the Turks and Caicos Islands is 18.
Interestingly, this is the same age prescribed by the governments of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. In fact, the legal age on all the other Caribbean islands is also 18 years of age with the exception of Haiti and Antigua where even 16 year olds can enjoy something a little stronger than a Coca Cola!
